Shown here are two design options for a recent project. The site presented interesting challenges, being long and narrow (100' x 1500'), and adjacent to a main railroad. The program was mixed use, combining retail, office space, as well as residential units. By dividing the site into three smaller pieces, we were able to develop a simple parti, or massing, for the design.
