Guitar Works
You wouldn't guess it now, but this building was originally a fast food
restaurant. It is recognizable to Calgarians for its detailed replica
of a 1946 Fender Stratocaster smashing into the entrance overhang of
Guitar Works. The goal of this project was to connect the structure
with the major roadway that it faces by creating a visual impact. The
guitar is further emphasized by the toned down colour palette of the
building exterior - because when it comes to music, how you mix it makes
all the difference.
